AI Usage & Permissions Policy

1. Purpose

Shekinah New Beginning Ministries ("SNBM", "we", "our", or "us") is committed to using technology responsibly while remaining faithful to biblical truth, integrity, transparency and the protection of personal information.

This Artificial Intelligence (AI) Usage & Permissions Policy explains:

• how AI systems may access publicly available content on our website;
• how we may responsibly use AI to assist ministry operations;
• what AI systems are not permitted to access or use; and
• our commitment to safeguarding personal information and maintaining compliance with UK data protection laws.

2. Our Approach to Artificial Intelligence

Artificial intelligence is a tool that may assist our ministry, but it never replaces biblical doctrine, pastoral discernment, prayer, the guidance of the Holy Spirit or human oversight.

Where AI is used, it may assist with:

• search optimisation (SEO, GEO and AEO);
• website administration;
• translation assistance;
• media preparation; and
• educational resource development.

All theological teaching, sermons, ministry resources, prophetic content, pastoral guidance and published doctrine are reviewed by ministry leadership before publication.

3. What AI Systems May Access

We permit reputable AI systems, search engines and indexing services to access publicly available website content for purposes including:

• indexing website pages;
• generating search summaries;
• assisting users with discovering biblical resources;
• improving search experiences;
• retrieving publicly available ministry information; and
• training AI models where permitted by applicable UK law and data protection requirements.

This permission applies only to publicly accessible information.

4. What AI Systems Must Not Access

AI systems may not access, collect or process:

• personal prayer requests;
• counselling information;
• pastoral communications;
• confidential ministry records;
• donation records;
• volunteer information;
• safeguarding information;
• children's information;
• member-only content;
• unpublished ministry materials;
• restricted administration areas;
• login-protected resources;
• internal documents; and
• confidential correspondence.

Attempts to access protected areas may be blocked or restricted.

5. AI-Assisted Ministry Content

Some publicly available content may be created with the assistance of AI tools to improve clarity, readability or accessibility.

However:

• all biblical teaching is reviewed by ministry leadership;
• Scripture remains the primary authority;
• AI is never considered a source of doctrine;
• pastoral decisions are made by people, not AI; and
• prophetic ministry is never generated or delivered by artificial intelligence.

Our commitment is to ensure every published resource reflects biblical truth and the vision of Shekinah New Beginning Ministries.

6. Data Protection

We are committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who interacts with our ministry.

We do not knowingly permit AI systems to access:

• personally identifiable information;
• confidential ministry records;
• safeguarding documentation;
• pastoral care records; and
• financial donation information.

Any AI tools used internally must comply with applicable UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 requirements where personal data is processed.

Technology serves the ministry—it does not define it.

Artificial intelligence may assist administrative and communication processes but never replaces:
